Sporty Group is scaling rapidly across new markets, and we need an experienced SEO Manager to lead our organic growth efforts. This is not a routine SEO role. Core Responsibilities

As SEO Manager, you will own our organic search presence. You will conduct ongoing keyword research, lead backlink acquisition strategies, and optimize content for maximum visibility. You will work with development teams to embed SEO best practices into new features. Your insights will shape how we appear in search results from Accra to Amsterdam.

Your core responsibilities will include:

Strategic SEO Leadership

• Develop and Implement SEO Strategies: You will create comprehensive plans that drive qualified traffic and improve visibility across multiple international markets.
• Conduct Ongoing Keyword Research: You will continuously discover and expand keyword opportunities. You will identify high-value terms that attract engaged users.
• Lead Backlink Acquisition: You will drive outreach strategies using platforms like RhinoRank, Ocere, Zentury, and similar tools. You will build a diverse, high-quality backlink profile through white-hat practices.

Content & Technical Optimization

• Collaborate on Content Initiatives: You will work with content and marketing teams to embed SEO best practices into everything we publish. You will ensure content serves both users and search engines.
• Conduct Content Audits: You will regularly review existing content, identifying optimization opportunities to maximize search visibility and user engagement.
• Partner with Development Teams: You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure new features and site updates follow SEO best practices. You will optimize website structure, crawlability, and link equity.
• Optimize Local Visibility: You will manage Google My Business listings and improve local search presence in key markets.

Measurement & Analysis

• Manage Tracking and Reporting: You will use GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Ahrefs to monitor performance. You will analyze data and produce actionable insights.
• Interpret Data Strategically: You will translate complex analytics into clear, practical recommendations. You will show stakeholders how SEO drives business value.
• Adapt and Iterate: You will respond to algorithm changes and market shifts quickly. You will continuously refine strategies based on performance data.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a seasoned SEO professional with a proven track record across multiple countries or regions. You understand the technical fundamentals deeply, but you also see the bigger picture of how SEO fits into business growth.

To excel in this role, you will need:

Core Experience & Knowledge

• A minimum of 3 years of proven SEO experience, working across multiple countries or regions.
• Deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals. You know how search engines work and how to make them work for us.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
• Hands-on experience with essential tools including GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
• Solid understanding of website structure, crawlability, and how link equity flows through a site.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills. You can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and an ownership mindset. You take responsibility for outcomes.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment where change is constant.

Even Better If You Have

• Experience in the online sports betting, gaming, or entertainment industry. You understand the unique challenges and opportunities.
• Hands-on experience with RhinoRank, Ocere, Zentury, or similar outreach platforms.
• Experience with international or multilingual SEO, managing strategies across different languages and cultures.
