Job Duties

• Manage and lead dedicated art teams across multiple geographies and studio locations while maintaining quality and productivity standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop artists and designers through performance reviews and professional growth initiatives.
• Identify capability gaps and implement artistic and technical training programmes.
• Establish and communicate a clear artistic vision aligned with gameplay and project objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and evolve style guides to ensure visual consistency across projects.
• Coordinate and oversee production pipelines to achieve timelines, quality benchmarks, and budget targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative artistic approaches and best practices.
• Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable creative direction.
• Present concepts and incorporate client feedback to strengthen project outcomes.
• Manage relationships with external partners and outsourced teams to ensure alignment with artistic standards.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fine Arts, Digital Art, Game Design, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of gaming industry experience with at least 5 years in art leadership roles such as Art Director or Associate Art Director.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard game engines including Unreal and Unity.
• Experience using creative tools such as Maya, Photoshop, and Substance Suite.
• Demonstrated capability to define and maintain cohesive artistic vision across projects.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with excellent decision-making skills.
• Experience managing complex art production pipelines including budgeting and scheduling.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, engineering, and production teams.
