POSITION: Systems Analyst

The Systems Analyst position represents far more than routine IT support. You will take responsibility for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining information systems that underpin our institutional operations. Core Responsibilities

Your daily activities will encompass a comprehensive range of technical and analytical functions:

• Analyze business processes and user requirements to identify appropriate technology solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain information systems that support institutional objectives
• Prepare system specifications, technical documentation, and user guides for stakeholders
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality across all platforms
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate timely resolution with relevant teams
• Ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and security of institutional data
• Support data management, backup, and disaster recovery initiatives
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions for operational enhancement
• Participate actively in ICT projects from planning through implementation phases

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Foundation: Candidates must possess an M.Sc. or M.Phil. Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a closely related discipline. This advanced qualification demonstrates comprehensive understanding of information systems principles and practices.
• Professional Experience: We require a minimum of four years of relevant post-qualification professional experience. This experience should demonstrate strong technical knowledge and practical application of systems analysis, information systems development, and ICT operations. Your track record should reflect progressive responsibility and successful project delivery.
• Core Competencies Required: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills remain essential for success. Strong communication abilities will enable effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you must demonstrate proficiency in working both independently and within team settings. Your ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable recommendations will distinguish you as a top candidate.
