POSITION: IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager position transcends traditional project coordination. You will take full ownership of coordinating people and processes while driving business change that delivers tangible value through structured project implementation. Your responsibilities will span medium to large scale initiatives and complex business units, requiring careful management of time, resources, budgets, and scope constraints. Consequently, we seek an individual who combines technical proficiency with exceptional leadership capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

Your daily activities will encompass a comprehensive range of strategic and operational functions:

• Initiate and manage the planning process while clearly defining project scope, goals, and objectives
• Develop detailed plans outlining tasks, resources, timelines, and deliverables for solid project execution
• Manage project resources including people, procurement, systems, time, and budget throughout the project lifecycle
• Build working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance collaboration and innovation
• Implement change management practices effectively while ensuring optimal understanding and acceptance
• Continuously develop expertise in industry trends and subject matter application
• Manage indirect or direct teams within defined processes while acting as technical coach where required
• Implement people resource planning in line with delivery and performance objectives
• Monitor actual project turnaround times and quality standards while resolving issues speedily
• Manage and advise on projects from beginning to end in alignment with organizational governance guidelines
• Contribute to project budget development while controlling and reporting on allocated resources
• Maintain and build relationships for expectation management and project reporting purposes
• Compile and maintain relevant project documentation to support delivery and audit requirements
• Apply discretion and judgement to diagnose symptoms, causes, and effects for effective problem solving
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project lifecycle
• Direct, control, coordinate, and optimise budgeted resources to meet specific objectives
