The Opportunity Awaits You

We currently seek a dedicated Stock Control Officer to join our wholesale operations. This position offers you the chance to work across multiple strategic locations including Odorkor, Dzorwulu, Spintex, and East Legon. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining optimal stock levels, preventing product expiration, and ensuring our customers receive authentic, high quality pharmaceutical products without delay.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Issue products according to the record on the issued document including invoices and delivery notes, strictly following the First Expired, First Out (FEFO) principle to minimize wastage.
• Cross check products issued against invoices before delivery, ensuring absolute accuracy in every transaction.
• Check and monitor products vigilantly to prevent expiration on shelves, safeguarding patient safety and company reputation.
• Segregate expired products and label accordingly to prevent accidental sell out, maintaining strict quality control standards.
• Participate in weekly requisition of low stocked products at the wholesale level, ensuring seamless supply chain operations.
• Prevent overstocking and stock out situations through proactive inventory management and demand forecasting.
• Track stock levels continuously and ensure supplies sufficiently meet customer demand at all times.
• Liaise with Supervisor for prompt update of stock records and information on computer systems, maintaining real time accuracy.
• Perform random checks and audit of stock regularly to address inventory discrepancies and maintain integrity.
• Assist customers in the purchase of products with professionalism and product knowledge, enhancing their shopping experience.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive stock reports periodically, providing management with actionable insights.

What We Are Looking For

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications and practical experience. Specifically, we require:

• Educational Qualification: HND in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of hands on experience in a similar stock control or inventory management position.
• Knowledge of FEFO Principles: Understanding of pharmaceutical inventory management best practices.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to stock checking, record keeping, and reporting.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to track stock levels, identify trends, and make data driven decisions.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication for liaising with supervisors and assisting customers.
• Computer Proficiency: Competence in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
• Residency Requirement: Must reside in or be willing to work in Odorkor, Dzorwulu, Spintex, or East Legon.
