POSITION: Program Manager

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

The Program Manager will undertake a diverse portfolio of duties that directly influence member engagement and organizational impact. Specifically, you will:

• Collaborate Closely with Executive Council: You will work hand in hand with leadership to understand member business challenges and develop tailored support strategies that drive commercial success.
• Analyze Member Organizations: You will delve deeply into each member company’s operations, value chains, and strategic objectives, thereby positioning yourself to offer relevant, actionable guidance.
• Oversee Daily Operations: You will manage the day to day functioning of Croplife Ghana, ensuring efficient handling of all inquiries and maintaining seamless communication channels.
• Build Strategic Partnerships: You will cultivate robust relationships with government agencies, development partners, donors, and other key stakeholders, thereby expanding our influence and access to resources.
• Drive Member Engagement: You will maintain regular contact with members, proactively identifying emerging issues and crafting inspiring solutions through effective advocacy and policy interventions.
• Maximize Trade Show Opportunities: You will negotiate contra deals and partnerships with trade show organizers, creating value added benefits that directly improve member businesses.
• Champion Advocacy Initiatives: You will vigorously promote the vision, mission, and mandate of Croplife through strategic advocacy campaigns that influence policy and public perception.
• Adapt to Emerging Needs: You will undertake any additional duties that arise, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to organizational excellence.

Qualifications

We seek candidates who combine academic excellence with substantial professional experience. Therefore, applicants must possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Administration, Agribusiness, Environmental Health and Safety Management, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
• A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in association management, with demonstrable success in member relations, operational oversight, and strategic planning.
• Proven expertise in environmental health and safety management, ensuring that all activities align with strict regulatory and sustainability guidelines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex ideas persuasively to diverse audiences.
• Unwavering energy and tenacity to deliver outstanding service consistently, even under demanding circumstances.
• Strong event management and project management capabilities, with the ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Familiarity with association management software, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word and Excel), WordPress, and relevant digital systems.
• Advanced IT and administrative skills that support efficient operations and data driven decision making.
