Job Duties

• Prepare aircraft surfaces through stripping, sanding, and buffing
• Apply primer, base coat, and Alodine using spray equipment
• Apply stripes, decals, and custom artwork per engineering drawings
• Perform touch-up and polishing work for finished appearance
• Mix and manage various paint systems, including lacquer and metallic
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance manuals
• Train and mentor junior paint technicians on the team
• Document completed work per the Inspection Procedures Manual

Job Requirements

• 3–4 years of hands-on aircraft painting experience required
• 6+ years of experience considered for senior Master grade roles
• Proven experience in aircraft surface preparation techniques
• Proficiency with spray guns, paint pots, and related equipment
• Working knowledge of high solids, conventional, and lacquer paints
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Normal colour vision is mandatory for this role
• Willingness to wear a respirator throughout the workday
• Physical fitness for non-air-conditioned hangar environments required
