The Istituto Marangoni Riyadh Scholarships for August 2026 open doors for Saudi students passionate about fashion design, luxury communication, digital media, accessories, branding, or fashion management. Supported by the Fashion Commission, this initiative awards 28 partial scholarships to Saudi nationals joining selected 3 year Advanced Training Diploma programmes. Scholarship Benefits

The Fashion Commission supports 28 students through partial tuition funding for eligible programmes. Selected applicants receive up to 30% tuition fee coverage for the full 3 year Advanced Training Diploma. This is not a one semester gesture. The support extends across the entire vocational study period, significantly reducing financial pressure throughout the programme.

Eligible Programmes

The scholarship applies to three specific Advanced Training Diploma pathways at Istituto Marangoni Riyadh. Each programme requires a project submission focused on Saudi craft heritage.

• Advanced Training Diploma in Fashion Design & Accessories: This pathway suits students who dream of designing garments, accessories, collections, and fashion products. Applicants must prepare design ideas showing how a traditional Saudi craft skill adapts into modern fashion. The project can take the form of a capsule collection of 6 looks or a fashion product line of 12 garments or artefacts.
• Advanced Training Diploma in Fashion Communication & Image: This programme appeals to applicants interested in fashion media, image making, visual communication, creative storytelling, and digital fashion content. Candidates must propose how a traditional Saudi craft can renew through digital technology, whether through visual communication, creative direction, or storytelling.
• Advanced Training Diploma in Fashion Management, Digital Communication & Media: This route serves students who prefer the business side of fashion: branding, luxury communication, digital campaigns, media strategy, and fashion management. Applicants must analyse the communication strategy of a local or international luxury brand and propose an advertising campaign targeting young Saudi customers.

The scholarship project revolves around the beauty and uniqueness of traditional Saudi crafts. However, applicants should not treat heritage as museum pieces. The real challenge involves demonstrating how Saudi craft skills can live inside today’s fashion industry through design, technology, storytelling, sustainability, branding, or digital media.

Strong applications showcase imagination, research, cultural awareness, and problem solving. Successful candidates do not simply state “heritage is important.” They prove how it becomes wearable, marketable, visible, and relevant.

Qualifications Required

This scholarship welcomes fashion students who hold a high school certificate or equivalent qualification. Applicants must demonstrate genuine interest in joining one of the eligible 3 year Advanced Training Diploma programmes at Istituto Marangoni Riyadh for the August 2026.
