Liberal Studies Department

• Mathematics and ICT in Computer Information Management and Computer Literacy.

Agricultural Engineering Department

• Postharvest Engineering or Irrigation Technology.

Industrial Art Department

• Fashion and Textiles.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department

• Power System Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering.

Computing and Information Technology Department (CIT)

• Computer Science and Computer Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering Department

• Mechanical (Plant) Engineering.

Accounting and Finance Department

• Accounting Software or Banking Software.

Communication and Applied Art Department

• Communication Design or Graphic Design.

Mining Engineering Department

• Mining Engineering.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, teaching experience, and research capabilities. Specifically, we require:

• Terminal Degree: A PhD in the relevant field of specialisation from a recognised institution.
• Teaching Experience: A minimum of four years of teaching experience as a Senior Lecturer or equivalent academic rank.
• Research Evidence: Evidence of practical and applied scientific research and industry related innovation.
• Research Independence: Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and contribute to knowledge advancement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for engaging students and colleagues.
• Commitment: Passion for teaching and dedication to student development.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to departmental and institutional goals.

Duty Station: This position is based at our campus in Bolgatanga, Upper East Region. Candidates must either reside in Bolgatanga or demonstrate willingness to relocate.
