- Stipend of $74,000 in year one

- Dedicated support to attend the CRI Bioinformatics Bootcamp
- No overhead deductions permitted from stipends or allowances
Eligibility Criteria
- Must hold a doctoral degree by award activation
- Must work under a sponsor at assistant professor rank or higher
- Research must directly relate to immunology or cancer immunology
- Applicants cannot exceed five years of mentored research experience
- M.D. applicants exclude residency years from this calculation
- Fellowship must occur at a qualifying non-profit institution
- Only one fellow per sponsor may apply per round
- Sponsors cannot exceed three CRI-supported fellows simultaneously
- Resubmissions are allowed if applications show clear progress
Deadlines and Timeline
Applications are due each March 1 and September 1. Weekend deadlines shift to the next business day. Submissions close at 11:59 PM Eastern Time. Decisions typically arrive within 10 to 12 weeks. Fellowships activate four months to one year after deadlines.
