Internship Benefits

Key Responsibilities

The intern will support the Operations and Programme Management Team, contributing directly to WHO’s operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting hybrid, virtual, and in-person meetings with technical assistance
  • Managing SharePoint sites and digital repositories for knowledge management
  • Supporting IT and audiovisual service documentation and asset management
  • Helping manage ICT assets such as laptops and mobile devices
  • Assisting in AI-enabled workplace initiatives and digital transformation projects
  • Preparing reports, presentations, and operational improvement documentation
  • Contributing to process improvement and automation activities

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet specific criteria for this competitive programme.

  • You must be enrolled at a recognised university or have graduated within the last 18 months, having completed at least three years of full-time university studies.
  • Eligible fields include Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data and Information Systems, and related disciplines.
  • Excellent English language skills are essential, while German language knowledge is desirable but not mandatory.
  • You must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint, and demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
  • The internship is open to all nationals, and there is no application fee.
