Chevening Scholarship Course Selection Requirements:
You must choose 3 university courses that meet the following criteria:
- Full-time courses starting in the fall term (often September/October) are eligible for Chevening funding.

- The study programme must last between 9 and 12 months.

Citizenship & Residency:
- You must be a citizen of a Chevening-qualified nation or territory. If you are applying from an Official Development Assistance (ODA) country, you must be a resident of an ODA-qualified country at the time of your application.
Academic Experience:
- You should have an undergraduate degree that allows you to enter a UK master’s programme, which is often equivalent to a UK upper second-class (2:1) honours degree.
Work Experience:
- You must have at least two years of work experience (the equivalent of a minimum of 2,800 hours) before applying.
- Eligible experience includes all full-time, part-time, paid/unpaid internships and voluntary service gained after earning your undergraduate degree.
Return Commitment:
- You must agree to return to your country of award (home country) for a minimum of two consecutive years after completing your scholarship.
University Applications:
- Apply for up to three qualifying courses at UK universities and gain an unconditional offer on at least one of your preferences by the scholarship offer deadline.

1. Register & Fill Online Application:

2. Write the Required Four Essays
In the selection process, Chevening will ask candidates to answer four short essay questions:

4. Attend the Chevening Interview (if shortlisted)
- An invitation to interview at the British embassy or high commission in their native country will be extended to those who are successful at the first round.
