This role works primarily on behalf of PennDOT and PA Turnpike clients. Work is performed almost entirely in the field, across varied weather conditions.

Job Duties

• Review plans and construction methods for code compliance
• Measure dimensions to verify structure alignment and elevation
• Record field notes and complete construction-related computations

• Ensure structural quality and safety across inspected projects

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required for this role
• 1–4 years of construction inspection experience, transportation preferred
• Active driver’s license and reliable vehicle required
• Strong computer proficiency required for record-keeping systems
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• NICET Level 2 or higher certification preferred for advancement
