Consequently, we seek an Electrical Maintenance Technician who shares our dedication to excellence and can support our Sunyani Branch with reliable electrical services.

The Opportunity Awaits You

We currently seek a skilled and safety conscious Electrician to join our Sunyani Branch. This position places you at the heart of our facility operations, where you will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems across our facilities and project sites. Your work will directly influence operational continuity, safety compliance, and overall efficiency.

Your Responsibilities

• Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, switches, sockets, and specialized equipment according to specifications.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime and ensure seamless operations.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications to execute tasks accurately.
• Conduct routine electrical inspections and testing to ensure system integrity and reliability.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems to prevent unexpected failures.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with safety standards, local regulations, and company policies.
• Maintain electrical tools and equipment, ensuring they remain in safe working order.
• Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns, resolving issues under pressure.
• Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inspection logs.
• Collaborate effectively with other technicians, engineers, and construction teams on interdisciplinary projects.

Qualifications and Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, practical experience, and personal attributes. Specifically, we require:

• Education: Certificate, Diploma, or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Installation.
• Experience: Practical experience as an electrician is an advantage.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical safety procedures, wiring standards, and regulations.
• Tools Proficiency: Ability to use electrical testing instruments including multimeters and voltmeters, and hand tools effectively.
• Soft Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills; good communication abilities.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Physical Fitness: Physically fit and able to perform manual labour; strong safety conscious mindset.

Duty Station: This position is based at our Sunyani Branch. Candidates must either reside in Sunyani or demonstrate willingness to relocate.
