Academic and Professional Development

Additionally, you can engage in an online professional learning community with international peers to share best practices. The program also offers intensive English language instruction for those who need additional practice.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be current secondary-level, full-time teachers at institutions serving primarily local populations.
  • Eligible subjects include English, EFL, mathematics, science, social studies, journalism, communications, and special education.
  • You must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent and have a minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience by the program start, with five or more years preferred.
  • Teachers must work with students between approximately 12 and 18 years of age more than 50% of their time.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required, typically demonstrated through a TOEFL score of 450 or equivalent.
