Job Summary

We currently seek a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a part time basis. This position places you at the heart of our creative operations, where you will design all needed graphic materials to support the marketing strategy of the group, including social responsibility initiatives. Your creativity will directly influence our ability to communicate effectively with audiences and achieve our business objectives.

Your Duties

• Design all needed graphic materials to support the marketing strategy of the group, including social responsibility (SAF) initiatives.
• Attend meetings with creative companies and other service providers such as print shops, ensuring seamless collaboration.
• Provide support and data to outsourced creative service providers as needed, maintaining quality and consistency.
• Purchase images from outsourced providers when required, ensuring all visuals meet brand standards.
• Participate in the brainstorming process that leads to the design process, contributing original ideas and creative solutions.
• Participate in the graphic design of marketing material for the STL group and provide advice on graphic content.
• Provide advice on graphic content and the process of designing marketing materials, ensuring clarity and impact.
• Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges.

Qualifications and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, technical skills, and personal attributes. Specifically, we require:

Educational Qualifications

• Professional qualification in design software.
• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in using Adobe suites and various image banks.
• Social media creative and content creation experience is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of experience in Graphic Design.
• Knowledge of Graphic Design and Creative Services.
• Good knowledge of IT and Technology.
• Knowledge of Print Design and Layout, Web Design, Photography, and Typography.
• Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual and visual ability, and originality.
• Ability to interact, communicate, and present ideas effectively.
• Ability to manage time and meet strict deadlines.

Personality

• Self-discipline, creativity, efficiency, ability to work under pressure, dedication, and high level of involvement.
• Ability to receive both positive and negative feedback in good faith.
• Patience and resilience in a creative environment.

Duty Station: This position is based at our office. Candidates must be available to work part time hours as specified.
