i-SEA Fellowship 2026 in Singapore (Fully Funded)

Applications are open for the i-SEA Fellowship 2026 cohort. NTU’s Wee Kim Wee School organizes this hybrid program. It targets young content creators across Southeast Asia specifically. The fellowship focuses on ethical storytelling and information integrity. Forty selected fellows join this month-long, fully funded experience. Temasek Foundation and NTU’s Mobility Fund support this initiative jointly.

About the Fellowship

This program builds on i-SEA’s successful inaugural 2025 cohort. That first group drew over 450 applications from across the region. Fellows engage in three weeks of online masterclasses initially. These sessions cover misinformation, AI literacy, and digital ethics broadly. Industry experts from Google, TikTok, and MediaCorp lead these sessions. The program culminates in a week-long Singapore residency and hackathon.

What Fellows Receive

Fellows receive fully funded return flights to and from Singapore. Accommodation and meals are covered throughout the residency week. Based on the prior cohort, a daily stipend also supported fellows. This allowed fellows to focus entirely on learning and creating. Additionally, fellows visit major media organizations during their Singapore stay.

Who Can Apply

Applicants outside Singapore must be between 18 and 25 years old. Singapore-based applicants may be as young as 16 to apply. Candidates must currently attend a post-secondary educational institution. Applicants need institutional nomination and at least 1,000 social media followers. Regular posting activity on platforms like TikTok or YouTube is expected.
