Study in Slovakia: Slovakian Fully Funded Scholarships 2027

Slovakia Scholarships 2027 is inviting all exceptional undergraduates and postgraduates to apply for generous financial aid. A large sum of €15,000 is offered for selected bachelor’s students. The project targets students enrolled at public universities in Slovakia.

What Makes the Slovakian Fully Funded Scholarships for 2027 Unique?

Unlike many European scholarships that look only at academic grades, this programme uses standardised test performance as its main selection requirement. The application process is still simple, but it is tough, as there are 225 scholarships available for the academic year 2026/2027.

Study Areas for Slovakian Fully Funded Scholarships 2027

The scholarship covers full-time, in-person education in selected disciplines that align with Slovakia’s Smart Specialisation Strategy. Eligible disciplines are

• Engineering and technology sectors
• Natural sciences and digital development
• Healthcare and innovation fields
• Other nationally prioritised study areas

Applicants should verify that their preferred university and programme are included on the official list of supported programmes. Part-time courses, distance learning, courses outside permitted topic areas, and doctoral studies are ineligible.

Eligibility Criteria Requirements for Slovakian Fully Funded Scholarships 2027

• Applications are welcome from anywhere around the world; however, there are a few caveats:
• Have citizenship other than Slovak (dual citizens and Slovaks living abroad could qualify under certain situations).
• Do not have residence in Slovakia as of 1 January 2021.
• Obtain admission at an eligible public university in Slovakia.
• Commit to full-time, in-person study in Slovakia.
• Submit an English-language proficiency and motivation letter.
• Submit standardised test scores of the SAT or SCIO.
• Meet the specific entrance criteria of each university

Benefits of Slovakian Fully Funded Scholarships 2027

• Successful applicants will receive a stipend of €500/month for 10 months per year.

The funding will help with living costs and study-related expenses. The public universities concerned may waive tuition for scholarship holders in qualifying foreign-language programmes; tuition costs are a different matter. Each institution makes that judgement on its own.
