About the Fellowship

Affiliated Fellows bring their own funding; IAS CEU provides no stipend.

Who Can Apply

Core Fellowship applicants need a PhD in social sciences or humanities. Junior and senior status depends on when that PhD was awarded. Writers and visual artists apply separately for the Artist in Residence track. Threatened Scholars must show genuine risk to their academic freedom or safety.
