University of Kent Chevening Scholarship Requirements

1. Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country.

• Applicants must be nationals of a country or territory that is eligible for the Chevening Scholarship programme.

2. Return to your home country after the scholarship

• Candidates must agree to return to their country of citizenship for a minimum of two years after the scholarship has expired.

3. Possess an Eligible Bachelor’s Degree

• Candidates applying for a one-year postgraduate course at the University of Kent must have a qualifying undergraduate degree.

4. Work Experience of At Least 2 Years

• The scholarship is suitable for professionals who have practical experience and want to enhance their knowledge through postgraduate study in the UK.

5. Apply to three eligible UK university courses.
