GOD WILL LIFT YOU UP
 

Scripture Reading: Joshua 3
 

And the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. Jos 3:7" href="https://pentbooks.com/bible/read?version=10&book=6&chapter=3#verse7">Joshua 3:7
 

The Lord promised that the day Israel crossed over the Jordan would be a day of exaltation for Joshua.
 
When Moses led the nation through the Red Sea, the miracle magnified Moses before the people; and they recognized that indeed, the Lord was with him. God would do the same thing for Joshua at the Jordan; and in so doing, He would remind the people that He was with Joshua just as He had been with Moses.
 
God used the ‘crossover’ event to establish Joshua. He is able to also use events in our lives to establish us. On the surface, we may be unaware of the grand purpose the occurrences of our lives may be serving. But through them, God can do a unique and mighty work that will bring us exaltation and credibility.
 
As we enter the New Year, there are two areas of emphasis we should devote prayer to:

• Let us trust God to do mighty works with us.

We do not enter a New Year with timidity. We enter with confidence and faith in God. The Lord who has kept us throughout this year will do mighty things for us and with us. We must believe that even in areas where there has been much struggle and difficulty, the coming year will see us prevailing and triumphing with God’s help.
 

• Let us trust God to exalt His name through us.

We want our lives to point to the awesomeness of our God. He accomplishes things in our lives so His name will be glorified. We must be walking testimonies of God’s goodness, power and might. Desire that in and through you, God will receive great acclaim.
 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, do mighty things through me. Magnify your name in my life in the year 2026. In Jesus’ name, Amen_
