Requirements for King’s College London Chevening Scholarship 2027
1. Be a National of a Chevening-eligible Country
- You must be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible nation. Chevening has nation-specific information for applicants; thus, potential scholars should verify whether their country is eligible for the 2027/28 programme.
2. Commit to returning home
The applicant must commit to returning to his or her country of citizenship or the country where the award was made for a minimum of two years after the scholarship ends.
3. Hold an Eligible Bachelor’s Degree
- Applicants must have completed all elements of an undergraduate degree that qualify them for admission to a postgraduate programme at a UK university.
- Applicants must have received their undergraduate degree at least two years before the application deadline. Candidates must also bring the required degree certificate at the time of interview.
4. Have At Least Two Years’ Work Experience
- Applicants must have a minimum of 2,800 hours of work experience, which is around two years.
5. Apply for 3 eligible UK master’s courses.
- Applicants must apply for three qualifying UK university courses.

6. Meet the Course-Specific Requirements
