Job Summary

We currently seek a friendly and energetic Waitress to join our team as a Coffee Shop Server. This position places you at the heart of our customer experience, where you will welcome customers, take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure every visit exceeds expectations. Your work will directly influence customer satisfaction, repeat business, and our reputation for excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to customers in a polite and professional manner, creating a positive first impression.
• Take customers’ orders accurately and promptly, ensuring attention to detail and special requests.
• Serve food, beverages, and other items to customers with efficiency and a friendly demeanour.
• Ensure tables and service areas remain clean, neat, and well presented, maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Process customer payments and issue receipts where required, handling transactions accurately.
• Respond to customer enquiries and attend to their needs promptly and courteously.
• Maintain high standards of customer service at all times, going above and beyond expectations.
• Assist with setting up and closing the coffee shop, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Work closely with the kitchen and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Qualification and Experience Required

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of educational background, practical skills, and personal attributes. Specifically, we require:

• Educational Qualification: Minimum of WASSCE or SHS qualification.
• Experience: Previous experience in a coffee shop, restaurant, café, or hospitality environment is an advantage.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and colleagues.
• Personality: Pleasant personality with a strong customer service attitude.
• Resilience: Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Presentation: Must be neat, well groomed, punctual, and reliable.
