NFL Rotational Program 2027 in USA

The National Football League invites current undergraduate seniors to apply for its 2027 Rotational Program, a highly selective two-year opportunity beginning in July 2027. Participants complete up to four project-based rotations across NFL offices, gaining experience in communications, finance, football operations, marketing, broadcasting, international business, events, and media. The program offers a listed salary of $72,000 USD.

What the Program Offers

Selected participants gain broad professional experience through challenging assignments, League events, and networking opportunities across different areas of the organisation. Rotations may take place at NFL League Office in New York, NFL Media in California, NFL Government Affairs Office in Washington DC, or NFL Films in New Jersey. Departments may include Communications and Public Affairs, Events Strategy, Finance, Football Operations, International, Marketing and Sales, Broadcasting, Labor Operations, and Media.

Eligibility Requirements

The NFL considers applications from currently enrolled undergraduate seniors, including students completing a fifth consecutive year. Applicants must:

• Be graduating between Winter 2026 and Spring 2027
• Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or above
• Be available to begin the programme in July 2027
• Be legally permitted to work in the United States with all required visas and employment authorizations
• Be willing to relocate to any NFL League office for rotations
• Have strong internship or previous work experience
• Demonstrate interest in gaining diverse professional experience within professional sports

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should demonstrate advanced experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, relationship management abilities, and excellent presentation skills are essential. The NFL also seeks candidates with independent thinking, attention to detail, analytical and critical-thinking skills, planning and organizational abilities, and strong time-management skills. Adaptability and the ability to work collaboratively across functions are equally important.

Programme Structure

Participants undertake project-based assignments during each rotation, gaining exposure to different professional functions rather than remaining in one department. At the end of the two-year programme, participants may pursue internal opportunities within the NFL, further education, opportunities with NFL Clubs, partner organizations, or careers outside the NFL. Continued employment is not guaranteed.

Work Location and Relocation

The programme requires onsite work with no remote or hybrid options. Participants must relocate when required by rotation placement. The NFL provides no relocation assistance. Employees work 40 hours per week, with occasional travel depending on placement.
