Job Summary

We currently seek a Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Accra. This position places you at the heart of our administrative operations, where you will review data for deficiencies, correct incompatibilities, generate reports, and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information. Your work will directly influence the accuracy of our records and the efficiency of our business processes.

Responsibilities

• Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities where possible, and verify output for accuracy.
• Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents, ensuring records remain comprehensive.
• Apply data program techniques and procedures consistently to maintain data quality standards.
• Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations regularly.
• Scan documents and print files when needed, supporting smooth document management.
• Keep information confidential, adhering to strict data protection protocols.
• Respond to queries for information and access relevant files promptly and professionally.
• Comply with data integrity and security policies, upholding organisational standards.
• Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions promptly.

Qualification and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, practical skills, and personal attributes. Specifically, we require:

• Educational Qualification: HND or Degree from a recognised institution.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of professional experience in data entry or a related role.
• Typing Skills: Strong typing speed and accuracy for efficient data capture.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to reviewing and correcting data.
• Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining the privacy and security of sensitive information.
• Organisational Skills: Ability to stay focused on assigned tasks and manage time effectively.
• Equipment Experience: Experience using office equipment such as scanners, printers, and computers.
