Requirements for the Sydney International Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship

• The fellowship is open to international students as described in the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (Australia).

The following are not eligible:

1. Australian citizens
2. Australian permanent residents
3. Dual Australian nationals

• Eligible applicants must be enrolled, or intend to enrol, in an eligible single undergraduate coursework degree at the University of Sydney.
• The duration of the qualifying degree shall not be more than four years.
• The grant is for excellent students, and applicants should have a satisfactory academic record. Applicants must satisfy the university’s admission requirements and the scholarship’s selection criteria.
• Applicants should have completed secondary school in Australia or be recognised by the foundation programme at the University of Sydney.
• Applicants must not have completed any previous tertiary education.
• Applicants should not be starting a second degree at the University of Sydney.

Benefits of the Sydney International Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship 2027

1. Full Payment of Tuition Fee

• Successful recipients will be fully reimbursed for the tuition expenses for the whole length of their eligible undergraduate degree on a full-time basis.
