POSITION: Marketing Director

Consequently, we seek a Marketing Director who shares our vision and can lead our marketing function with creativity, commercial acumen, and strategic insight.

We currently seek a Marketing Director to join our leadership team in Accra. This position places you at the helm of our marketing operations, where you will lead and drive the company’s marketing strategy, brand growth, product penetration, market expansion, and overall marketing performance. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to compete, innovate, and expand across markets.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies and annual plans that align with business objectives and drive measurable results.
• Lead brand, product, and portfolio management, ensuring strong positioning and competitive advantage.
• Drive market growth, product penetration, and brand awareness through innovative campaigns and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee market research, campaigns, digital marketing, and communication, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive product launches, expanding our reach and portfolio.
• Manage marketing budgets, KPIs, and team performance, ensuring accountability and return on investment.
• Collaborate with Sales, Regulatory, Finance, Supply Chain, and other functions to achieve integrated business goals.
• Ensure compliance with FDA requirements and applicable pharmaceutical regulations, upholding industry standards.

Qualification and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, professional experience, and industry knowledge. Specifically, we require:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
• Advanced Qualification: MBA, Master’s degree, or professional marketing certification is an advantage.
• Experience: 8 to 10 years of marketing experience, including 3 to 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Industry Exposure: Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industries, with pharmaceutical or healthcare experience preferred.
• Brand Management: Proven experience in brand and product management, market development, and product launches.
• Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Ghanaian market and pharmaceutical regulatory environment is an advantage.
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high performing marketing teams.
• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic planning skills for driving growth.

Duty Station: This position is based in Accra. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Accra.
