Study in Germany and Norway: Erasmus Mundus EMMIR Scholarship 2027 (Fully Funded)

The 2027 Erasmus Mundus EMMIR Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for foreign students to undertake a two-year master’s degree in migration and intercultural relations in Europe and other international partner destinations.

The European Master in Migration and Intercultural Relations (EMMIR) is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree offering students an interdisciplinary education in migration studies. The curriculum offers academic study, research, fieldwork, and practical experience in a range of cultural and geographical locations.

This programme has a special mobility structure. In the first semester, students are in Germany; in the second semester, in Norway; in the third semester, they do an internship based on research; and in the fourth semester, they finish their master’s thesis.

Selected Erasmus Mundus scholarship winners will receive a monthly award of €1,400 for 24 months. The scholarship also covers university registration and student service expenses, as well as health insurance. The monthly stipend is used by students to cover mobility-related costs, such as travel, visas, vaccinations, and residence permit fees, linked with the mandatory mobility pathway of the EMMIR.
