POSITION: Interns
CERATH Development Organization (CDO) is seeking motivated young professionals to join our team as interns. If you hold a postgraduate degree in Fisheries Science, Climate Change and Sustainable Development, or Economics with strong quantitative skills, this six month internship offers the perfect platform to gain hands on industry experience while contributing to impactful initiatives across West Africa.

As an intern, you will not sit on the sidelines; you will actively support project implementation, conduct research, and contribute to solutions that transform lives.
Your Mission: Support Impactful Development Projects
You will join our team and support the implementation of projects across our intervention domains. Your work will vary based on your background, but expect to engage in research, data analysis, report writing, and field support. Your analytical skills and development interest will drive your success. Moreover, this internship offers a pathway: CDO may renew your engagement or offer full employment status based on your performance.
What You Bring to the Role
We are looking for candidates with postgraduate qualifications and strong analytical abilities. Here is what you need:
Education
- A postgraduate degree in one of the following fields:
- Fisheries Science or Fisheries Administration and Management
- Climate Change and Sustainable Development
- Economics (with strong quantitative and analytical skills)
Skills
- Strong analytical, statistical, and research skills that allow you to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports, sharing findings, and collaborating with team members.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently when needed and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated interest in development work, whether through prior volunteering, coursework, or personal passion.
What We Offer
- Duration: 6 months, subject to renewal or transition to full employment status based on performance.
- Compensation: Monthly stipend of GHS 2,000 to support you during your internship.
- Experience: Hands on exposure to real development projects implemented across West Africa.
