About the Fellowship

Femtech Ventures is a five-year initiative running from 2025 to 2030. It invests in locally developed solutions built close to the challenges they address. The first cohort included 11 companies from eight countries in Africa and Asia. The second call will select the next group of companies.

UNICEF pays particular attention to solutions for low-resource and emergency settings. Safety by design is also a condition of investment, including data privacy, consent, and user risk.

Who Can Apply

The call is for companies, not individuals. UNICEF seeks companies that meet these criteria:

• Focused on emerging markets
• Women-led startups and founders under 35 are strongly encouraged to apply.
