MIS and Funding Compliance Officer Jobs in UK 2026

Skilled at turning data into better learning outcomes? West Sussex County Council seeks an MIS and Funding Compliance Officer for its Adult Learning Service. Candidates needing sponsorship must first assess their eligibility against Gov.UK criteria. If funding compliance and data quality excite you, this role offers real influence.

About the Role

You will lead the use and development of the Management Information System across the service and its delivery partners. This includes managing funding compliance, Individual Learner Record submissions, and audit requirements. Additionally, you will monitor data quality, accuracy, and integrity. You will also produce performance reports and dashboards to support service planning and funding optimisation.

This is a full-time, hybrid role at County Hall, Chichester, paying £41,177 to £44,253. The contract is fixed-term or secondment, running until July 2027.

About the Hiring Firm

West Sussex County Council is the local authority for West Sussex, based at County Hall in Chichester. Its Adult Learning Service offers funded courses in English, maths, digital skills, family learning, and ESOL. It commissions delivery partners rather than teaching everything itself. A 2021 council procurement notice described around 80 venues and over 3,000 adults taught each year. The council recently celebrated the achievements of nearly 3,000 adult learners.
