POSITION: Customer Sales Support Representative

As a Customer Sales Support Representative, you will not simply process orders; you will actively promote and sell parts and tools, work closely with customers to understand their specific needs, and deliver exceptional service that drives customer satisfaction and business growth.
Your Mission
You will take responsibility for identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, converting leads into successful transactions. Your focus will span customer inquiry management, quotation generation, proactive fleet assessment, order processing, backorder resolution, customer visits, critical order escalation, backlog management, and supply chain collaboration. Key Responsibilities
Your role spans sales opportunity identification, customer inquiry management, order processing, backorder resolution, customer visits, escalation, and collaboration. Here is what you will tackle:
Sales Opportunity Identification & Lead Conversion
- You will identify and pursue sales opportunities, converting leads into successful transactions that grow our business.
- Proactively initiating calls to assess fleet status, address concerns, and explore new business opportunities keeps you ahead of customer needs.
Customer Inquiry & Quotation Management
- You will manage customer inquiries and generate accurate quotations, ensuring customers receive timely, precise information.
- Answering questions thoroughly builds trust and reduces friction in the sales process.
Order Processing & Backorder Management
- You will ensure timely processing of customer orders with sharp attention to detail, preventing errors that cause delays.
- Managing backorders proactively, ensuring swift resolution and minimizing delays, keeps customers informed and satisfied.
Customer Visits & Relationship Building
- You will conduct customer visits as necessary to strengthen relationships and identify sales opportunities that phone calls cannot uncover.
- Face to face interactions build deeper trust and reveal unspoken needs.
Critical Order Escalation
- You will escalate critical “priority 1” orders or inquiries to PSSR or TSSRs for prompt resolution, keeping customers informed throughout the process.
- Knowing when to escalate demonstrates sound judgment and customer focus.
Backlog & Supply Chain Collaboration
- You will expedite customer orders and manage outstanding actions from backlog reports to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Collaborating with the supply chain network to follow up on outstanding items ensures smooth operations from order to delivery.

What You Bring to the Role
We are looking for a candidate with the right qualifications, experience, and competencies. Here is what you need:
Qualifications
- An HND or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics & Supply Chain, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
- A part qualification in CIPS or CIM, or an equivalent certification.
Experience
- A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
- Sales experience is desirable, giving you a strong advantage.
Technical Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Familiarity with Aurora Software or SAP is advantageous.
Core Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and listening skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities for engaging customers and internal teams.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multi disciplinary team.
