Overview
A respected, multidisciplinary healthcare provider in England is recruiting a qualified Sports Therapist to join its clinical team in 2026. The role is based in Wymondham, Norfolk or Halesworth, Suffolk and offers a competitive salary of £30,000 to £45,000 depending on experience. UK Skilled Worker visa sponsorship and relocation support are available for suitable international candidates.
About the role
You will work as part of a growing multidisciplinary clinic alongside podiatrists and other clinicians. The post is clinically focused and largely hands‑on, involving assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and sports‑related injuries. Clinic hours are typically three or four days per week in modern, well‑equipped rooms, giving a balance of autonomy and collaborative practice.
Key responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports‑related conditions
- Deliver hands‑on treatment and tailored rehabilitation programmes
- Develop, implement and review individualised treatment plans
- Work closely with podiatrists and other clinicians to provide integrated care
- Maintain accurate, professional clinical records to regulatory standards
- Educate patients on injury prevention and long‑term wellbeing
- Contribute to a positive, patient‑centred clinic environment
Who we are looking for
- BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy or equivalent degree‑level qualification
- Registration with the Sport & Exercise Therapy Register (SST) or membership of a recognised professional body is preferred
- Strong background in musculoskeletal assessment and practical treatment techniques
- Able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- High standards of professionalism, reliability and patient care ethics
- Commitment to ongoing learning, CPD and clinical development
- Willingness to relocate to the UK if applying from overseas (visa sponsorship available)
Benefits and development
- Salary range £30,000–£45,000 depending on experience
- Support for relocation and visa sponsorship where offered
- Opportunities for funded CPD and career progression within the clinic group
- Modern clinic facilities and supportive multidisciplinary team
- Pension contributions, statutory holiday entitlement and other workplace benefits in line with UK employment law
Visa sponsorship and practical notes
The employer can support successful overseas applicants with Skilled Worker visa sponsorship and will normally provide guidance on the paperwork and timelines. Visa eligibility, health checks and any required background checks must be met by the applicant. Ask the employer for a clear outline of the sponsorship steps and expected dates before accepting any offer.
Support for African and Asian applicants
We welcome applicants from African and Asian communities and other overseas candidates. If you are applying from abroad or English is not your first language, please tell us in your application if you would find additional support helpful (for example: plain‑language guidance, extra time for paperwork, translated instructions or an interpreter). The employer can usually:
- Explain the visa and relocation steps and likely timelines in simple terms
- List the documents typically required (passport, degree certificates, professional registration, CV, references)
- Advise on any professional registration or recognition checks needed
- Offer reasonable adjustments during application and interview stages
How to apply
Please submit a CV, copies of your relevant qualifications and registrations, and a short covering note describing your clinical experience and availability. If you require visa sponsorship, state this clearly and include any questions about eligibility — the employer or recruiter will reply with guidance.
Important note
You must meet UK immigration, health and any background‑check requirements to take up a sponsored role. Employers can assist with paperwork, but securing the visa and meeting eligibility is ultimately the applicant’s responsibility.
