Job Duties

• Adjust greenhouse environments based on plant growth stages, weather changes, and substrate requirements.
• Apply principles of “Het Nieuwe Telen” to optimize temperature, humidity, light, and CO₂ management.
• Support researchers by advising on experimental setups and cultivation strategies effectively.
• Perform propagation, cultivation, and harvesting activities across diverse crop types consistently.
• Identify plant diseases, pests, and abnormalities while ensuring timely intervention and control.
• Collaborate with colleagues, researchers, and students to maintain efficient greenhouse operations.

Job Requirements

• Educational background in plant cultivation, applied biology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of greenhouse climate systems, plant physiology, and crop management techniques.
• Ability to work effectively with automated systems and modern agricultural technologies.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within international research teams.
