POSITION: Field Training Officer

Your Mission: Train, Coach, and Elevate Field Agents
You will take responsibility for training, coaching, and improving the performance of field agents and the sales team across multiple regions including Central Region, Greater Accra, Volta Region, Western North, Bono Ahafo, and Eastern Region. Your ability to analyze sales results, develop impactful training materials, and monitor agent performance will directly influence productivity, quality scores, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans training delivery, curriculum development, performance tracking, logistics coordination, and team culture. Here is what you will tackle:
Training & Coaching
- You will determine training needs by analyzing sales results, spending time in the field, and liaising with sales supervisors and managers.
- Developing and updating training materials that improve sales for field associates keeps our agents equipped and confident.
- Training new recruits in every aspect that helps them sell effectively builds a strong foundation for success.
Performance Monitoring & Impact Tracking
- You will monitor agent performance and track the impact of training on associate productivity, quality scores, and retention.
- Tracking and reporting training effectiveness and performance key indicators ensures we measure what matters.
- Ensuring all agents achieve an average of 85% monthly assessment on products sets a clear standard for excellence.
Logistics & Program Management
- You will handle all logistics arrangements for training including conducting training needs analysis, developing customized curriculum and learning activities, and implementing training programs to address identified needs.
- Ensuring punctuality and 98% attendance on a daily basis builds discipline and reliability.
Compliance & Budget Control
- You will create awareness among all field associates regarding specified information security and data protection requirements.
- Attaining 100% accuracy and completeness of training reports reflects your attention to detail.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards protects our operations.
- Working within the training budget and controlling costs demonstrates financial responsibility.
Team Culture & Recruitment
- You will create a healthy team spirit as well as an inspiring team environment with open communication culture.
- Supporting the identification and recruitment of new and prospective field sales associates expands our talent pool.
- Performing other training related tasks as assigned keeps you engaged and versatile.
What You Bring to the Role
We are looking for a candidate with the right qualifications, experience, and personal attributes. Here is what you need:
Qualifications & Experience
- An HND or First degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resource, or a related field.
- Two to five years of experience in training, coaching, or field sales.
- Experience in insurance or FMCG gives you a distinct advantage.
- Completion of national service is required.
Language & Technical Skills
- Fluency in English and Twi; any additional local Ghanaian language gives you an advantage.
- Conversant with MS Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Personal Attributes
- A strong team player who collaborates effectively across functions.
- Strong interpersonal and human relation skills that build trust and rapport.
- Ability to work both in the office and in the field, balancing desk work with frontline engagement.
- Ability to review data and share constructive feedback that drives improvement.
- Residence in Accra or readiness to relocate.
