POSITION: Driver 

Masterman Publications Ltd is seeking a responsible and experienced Driver to join our team. If you possess a valid Category C driver’s licence, have up to five years of driving experience, and reside within the Tech Junction vicinity, this role offers the opportunity to work with a respected publisher while keeping our operations moving smoothly.

Your Mission

You will take the wheel of company vehicles, transporting books to customers and clients across Kumasi and beyond. Your focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism will directly impact our reputation and customer satisfaction. Your knowledge of road safety rules and traffic regulations will protect our assets and the public.

Key Responsibilities

Your role centers on safe driving and timely deliveries. Here is what you will tackle:

Driving & Safety

• You will drive company vehicles safely and responsibly, obeying all traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintaining a defensive driving approach protects you, your cargo, and others on the road.
• Ensuring the vehicle remains in good working order through daily checks and reporting any issues promptly prevents breakdowns.

Deliveries

• You will ensure the timely movement of books to appropriate customers and clients, keeping our supply chain flowing.
• Loading and unloading books with care prevents damage and demonstrates respect for our products.
• Obtaining necessary signatures and confirmations upon delivery provides accountability and proof of service.

Navigation & Route Planning

• Leveraging your familiarity with Tech Junction and its environs allows you to choose the most efficient routes.
• Avoiding traffic congestion and road hazards through local knowledge saves time and fuel.

What You Bring to the Role

We are looking for a candidate who meets the requirements and embodies the qualities essential for success. Here is what you need:

Age & Experience

• You must be between 30 and 40 years of age.
• You must have a maximum of five years of driving experience, demonstrating a balance of skill and recency.
• You must possess a valid Category C driver’s licence, authorizing you to operate the vehicles in our fleet.

Education & Literacy

• You must be able to read and write, enabling you to understand delivery instructions, complete logs, and communicate effectively.

Location & Local Knowledge

• You must reside around Tech Junction and be very familiar with its environs. This proximity ensures reliable attendance and efficient route planning.
• Good knowledge of road safety rules and traffic regulations is essential for keeping yourself and others safe.
