Job Duties

• Own and execute the complete IT audit cycle, ensuring effective risk and control management.
• Support the development of the internal audit scope and contribute to annual audit planning processes.
• Review and evaluate documentation, reports, and system processes across key IT functional areas.
• Analyze IT systems, including development, security, and operations, for compliance and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Ensure all audit activities comply with established professional and regulatory auditing standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen controls and improve operational processes continuously.
• Monitor audit findings and support remediation actions to ensure the timely resolution of identified risks.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in IT auditing within regulated industries such as banking, fintech, or consulting firms.
• Proven ability to plan, execute, and document audits, including risk assessments and control testing procedures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure audits and modern IT architecture environments.
• Experience using data-driven audit techniques, including SQL and large-scale data analysis tools.
• Good understanding of European financial regulations, including DORA and EBA guidelines.
• Familiarity with auditing standards such as IIA, ITIL 4, and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Strong understanding of IT General Controls and third-party risk management practices.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills across diverse teams.
• Fluency in English is required, while German language skills provide an additional advantage.
