Job Duties

• Design and develop power electronics systems from schematic creation to full product deployment.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers to deliver integrated battery management system solutions.
• Develop PCB designs, including layout reviews, EMC compliance, and prototype validation processes.
• Simulate and implement control systems, including voltage and current regulation loops.
• Support manufacturing processes, including supplier qualification and component selection.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as CE, eMark, and related certifications.
• Contribute to technical presentations and product positioning for global industry events.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience designing switch-mode power electronics systems.
• Strong PCB design skills using tools such as Altium, KiCad, or similar platforms.
• Solid understanding of control theory and practical experience tuning control loops.
• Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB, LTspice, or PLECS.
• Ability to perform hardware testing using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and related tools.
• Familiarity with battery systems, BMS integration, or communication protocols is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate or eligibility for visa sponsorship under Australian skilled visa programs.
