POSITION: IT Manager
Eusbett Hotel is seeking an IT Manager to join our team. If you hold a degree or diploma in Information Technology, possess in depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity, and can work flexible hours including weekends and evenings, this role offers the opportunity to keep a busy hotel’s technology operations secure, efficient, and guest friendly.

As IT Manager, you will not simply fix computers; you will coordinate vendors, manage network configuration, oversee servers and workstations, ensure PCI compliance, maintain data protection standards, and lead a small IT team. Your work will directly impact guest satisfaction, staff productivity, and hotel security.
Your Mission
You will take responsibility for the smooth functioning of all hotel technology systems and vendor coordination. Your role includes overseeing network configuration, servers, workstations, networking equipment, CCTV surveillance, IPTV systems, PABX, email accounts, and underlying server infrastructure. Additionally, you will prepare preventive maintenance schedules, manage disaster recovery and daily backups, maintain hardware and software inventories, and ensure compliance with IT audit points and data protection regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Your role spans network management, hardware and software support, security, policy development, team leadership, and compliance. Here is what you will tackle:
Network & Systems Management
- You will oversee network configuration, servers, workstations, networking equipment, CCTV surveillance, IPTV systems, PABX, email accounts, and server infrastructure.
- Coordinating vendors for guest internet, property management systems (PMS), point of sale (POS), IPTV, telephony systems, and other software vendors.
Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis
- You will troubleshoot hardware and software problems, resolving issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- Performing root cause analysis on recurring problems, preventing future failures.
Preventive Maintenance & Disaster Recovery
- You will prepare and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all IT hardware and software.
- Managing the disaster recovery process and ensuring regular daily backups complete successfully.
Security & Compliance
- You will ensure policies and procedures relating to PCI compliance remain updated.
- Ensuring full compliance with the Data Protection Agency and relevant governmental Acts.
- Moreover, Implementing IT audit points as per relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
- Afterwards, Maintaining awareness of IT security policies and ensuring implementation through regular staff training.
Inventory & Documentation
- You will monitor and maintain a proper inventory of hardware and software licenses.
- Maintaining a system error and progress log book, dealing with reported problems systematically.
Team Leadership & Policy Development
- You will plan, assign, and take reports from the IT team, managing workloads effectively.
- Then, Preparing policies and procedures for the IT department and user departments.
- Also, Leading the establishment of project scope, technical strategy, cost, budget, and staff support requirements for new IT initiatives.
Guest & User Support
- You will respond courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests and system users.
- Identifying and implementing solutions to user challenges associated with personal computer equipment.
Staying Current
- You will keep updated with the latest hotel technology and security risks regularly.
- Performing other IT or systems related tasks assigned by management.
What You Bring to the Role
Education & Certifications
- A degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, database management, cybersecurity, and networking.
- Microsoft or Cisco certifications give you a strong advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Knowledge of network infrastructure including CAT5 and CAT6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller, Active Directory, firewall, CCTV, IP and Cable TV, card access control, and VPN applications.
- Good knowledge of server hardware, disk storage technology, and I/O devices.
- Skill in system level profiling tools and network monitoring systems such as iostat and Nagios.
- Background in highly available systems and image capture and management systems.
- Extensive knowledge of Active Directory management and implementations.
- Antivirus setup and day to day support capabilities.
