Key Responsibilities

As a Medical and Sales Representative, you will not stay in one place. Instead, you will be on the move. You will visit hospitals, pharmacies, and chemical sellers across your assigned region. You will build relationships with medical staff and promote M&G’s product line. Ultimately, you will drive sales and achieve your targets.

Here is exactly what your role will look like:

• Hit the Road: You will travel regularly to meet with medical staff, pharmacy owners, and over the counter medicine sellers.
• Promote Products: You will present M&G’s pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. You will explain their benefits and answer questions.
• Build Relationships: You will become a trusted face in the medical community. Doctors and pharmacists will know your name and respect your knowledge.
• Achieve Targets: You will take ownership of sales targets and work consistently to meet or exceed them.
• Cover Your Territory: You will develop deep knowledge of hospitals, wholesale pharmacies, retail pharmacies, distributors, and chemical sellers in your region.
• Report and Plan: You will plan your daily routes, track your visits, and report on your activities.

The Ideal Candidate: Skills and Experience

Your Qualifications:

• Educational Foundation: You hold a science degree or you are a pharmacy technician with relevant qualifications.
• Industry Experience: You have 2 to 3 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry in Ghana. You understand the landscape.
• Communication Skills: You possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English. You present yourself professionally.
• Pleasing Personality: You are the kind of person people enjoy talking to. You build rapport easily.
• Valid Driving Licence: This role requires mobility. You must have a valid driving licence and be comfortable on the road.
• Tech Ready: You have a basic smartphone and reliable email access. You can stay connected and report digitally.
• Market Knowledge: You know the hospitals, pharmacies, distributors, and chemical sellers in Ghana. You understand how the market works.
