POSITION: Logistics Specialist

As a Logistics Specialist, you will not simply track shipments; you will manage inventory levels, handle order processing, prepare and manage documentation, ensure compliance with import/export regulations, and resolve transportation issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordination: You will coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to distributors, working with shipping companies, warehouses, and retailers to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
• Inventory Management: You will manage inventory levels, ensuring products are available when needed without overstocking.
• Order Processing: You will handle order processing, from receiving orders to ensuring their fulfillment.
• Shipment Tracking: You will track shipments and provide updates on delivery status to customers and stakeholders.
• Documentation: You will prepare and manage shipping and receiving documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
• Compliance: You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including customs and import/export regulations.
• Problem Resolution: You will address and resolve issues during transportation, such as delays, damages, or lost shipments.
• Cost Management: You will manage transportation costs and find ways to reduce expenses while maintaining service quality.
• Data Analysis: You will analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement .
