The Asian Development Bank (ADB) invites early-career professionals to apply for its 2027 Young Professionals Program (YPP). Program Benefits
Selected Young Professionals receive a competitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits. The program includes a fixed 3-year term appointment at ADB headquarters, with an initial assignment in an operations or operations support role. Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, you must meet specific criteria:
- Hold a university degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Environment, Law, Social Sciences, Public Policy, or a related field (post-graduate degree preferred)
- Have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in areas such as macro or development economics, climate change, commercial or investment banking, education, energy, environment, financial sector, public health, public-private partnership, rural development, transport, urban planning, water operations, or agriculture and natural resources. A PhD may substitute for work experience
- Be not more than 32 years old upon joining ADB
- Demonstrate written and verbal proficiency in English
- Be a national of one of ADB’s 69 member countries
