What the Programme Offers

Selected Graduate Professionals receive a monthly stipend to support their participation. In-person participants based in Geneva receive USD 1,500 per month, while remote participants receive USD 750 per month. The programme lasts six months with the possibility of extension, and there is no application fee.

Responsibilities include conducting background research, supporting meetings and conferences, assisting with communication and coordination tasks, and preparing concise written briefs.

Who Should Apply

Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate programme (Master’s or higher) or have graduated within the past year and be able to commence the programme within one year of graduation. No prior professional work experience is required, making this opportunity accessible to early-career professionals. Successful candidates demonstrate strong research and presentation skills, the ability to synthesize information into high-quality written briefs, organizational and coordination capabilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with Canva or InDesign is also valuable. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of another official UN language is considered an asset.
