Who Should Apply

UNIDIR prefers applicants with postgraduate qualifications relevant to gender, youth, and disarmament issues, such as international relations, political science, international law, or gender studies.

Key Competencies

Successful candidates demonstrate strong research and presentation skills, the ability to synthesize information into high-quality written briefs, organizational and coordination capabilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. Familiarity with Canva or InDesign is also valuable. Fluency in English is required, while knowledge of another official UN language is considered an asset.
