Job Summary

We currently seek a Strategy Manager to join our leadership team in Accra. This position places you at the centre of our strategic operations, where you will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate plans while identifying priorities, risks, and growth opportunities. Your work will directly influence our ability to compete, innovate, and expand across markets.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of corporate and strategic plans, identifying priorities, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Analyse markets, competitors, technologies, regulations, and emerging trends, converting insight into actionable recommendations for the CEO and management.
• Develop business cases and commercial structures for new products, projects, investments, and partnerships.
• Lead or coordinate high quality proposals, tenders, board papers, management reports, and executive presentations.
• Identify, assess, and develop strategic partnerships, preparing concepts, MOUs, and supporting negotiations through to execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with government institutions, regulators, financial institutions, investors, and industry bodies.
• Monitor policy and regulatory developments and support public sector and public private partnership engagements.
• Maintain regulatory and compliance trackers, coordinating documentation, licence, and regulatory responses.
• Prepare negotiation strategies and briefs, analysing commercial terms, risks, and opportunities.
• Track strategic initiatives via dashboards, coordinating workstreams and providing timely management updates.
• Prepare executive briefs, agendas, and decision papers, supporting board and management reporting with strict confidentiality.

Required Skills, Qualification and Experience

To succeed in this role, you must bring a combination of academic qualifications, professional experience, and core competencies. Specifically, we require:

Qualification and Experience

• Master’s degree in Law, Finance, Management Science, Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• A professional qualification in law, finance, corporate governance, project management, or strategy is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, financial services, technology, government relations, regulatory affairs, business development, commercial negotiations, proposal development, public private partnerships, or investment and transaction advisory.
• Experience across both private and public sector environments is highly advantageous.
