The Austria Ernst Mach Scholarship 2027 is an opportunity for international students, researchers, and musicians to pursue their advanced academic development in Austria.

The Ernst Mach Grant – ASEA-UNINET is important because it offers three alternative financing paths rather than just one type of scholarship. Eligible applicants, depending on their academic background, may apply for a 36-month PhD programme, a post-doctoral research award of 4 to 6 months, or a nine-month music practice grant.

This scholarship programme is funded by the Austrian Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research and is administered by OeAD in partnership with the university network ASEA-UNINET.

1. Full PhD Scholarship

• Additionally, select an eligible Austrian ASEA-UNINET member university.

• Afterward, obtain a written Letter of Consent or Acceptance from the intended supervisor.
• Then, write a strong research proposal.
• Moreover, upload the academic recommendation letters as requested.
