Your Mission

You will serve as our primary customer representative, processing daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments. Your focus will center on accurate cash handling, daily drawer balancing, and promoting bank services while maintaining strict security compliance. Your ability to detect errors, prevent fraud, and resolve customer inquiries will protect our clients and our reputation.

Key Responsibilities

Your role spans transaction processing, customer service, cash handling, sales, and compliance. Here is what you will tackle:

Transaction Processing

• You will receive cheques and cash for deposit, verifying amounts with care and precision.
• Cashing cheques and processing loan payments requires attention to detail and adherence to bank policies.

Customer Service

• You will answer inquiries regarding accounts, resolving issues with professionalism and patience.
• Providing stellar service to diverse clients builds trust and encourages repeat business.

Cash Handling & Accuracy

• You will balance the cash drawer daily, verifying cash and managing currency with zero tolerance for errors.
• Strong mathematical skills for balancing, counting, and verifying cash keep your drawer accurate.

Sales & Promotion

• You will cross sell bank services and products such as savings accounts and safe deposit boxes to clients.
• Identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate products grows our business and helps clients.

Compliance & Security

• You will adhere to bank policies, security procedures, and fraud detection techniques.
• Detecting errors and potentially fraudulent activity protects the organization and our customers.

Education

• An HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar field.

Experience

• Proven two year experience working as a teller.
