POSITION: Stores Officer Assistant

Your Mission

Key Responsibilities

Receiving & Issuing Materials

• You will assist in receiving incoming materials and equipment, verifying quantities and inspecting for damage before accepting delivery.
• Issuing items to workshop staff requires careful documentation to maintain accountability.

Storage & Material Handling

• You will ensure proper storage and handling of materials, protecting them from damage, theft, or spoilage.
• Organizing the stores area logically makes retrieval faster and safer.

Stock Records & Inventory Reports

• You will maintain accurate stock records and inventory reports, updating entries as items arrive or leave.
• Producing regular inventory reports for management highlights stock levels, slow movers, and reorder needs.

Periodic Stock Counts & Reconciliation

• You will support periodic stock counts, physically verifying quantities against system records.
• Assisting in reconciliation when discrepancies occur requires attention to detail and investigative skills.
