A high-impact opportunity is available for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a fast-growing London-based immigration and business consultancy in 2026. This permanent, full-time role offers Skilled Worker visa sponsorship and a competitive salary of £42,000 per year. It suits internationally minded sales and BD professionals seeking a long-term career in the UK.
We especially welcome applicants from Africa and Asia. The firm regularly hires internationally and will support successful candidates through the Skilled Worker visa and relocation process, including practical guidance and coordination with immigration advisers.
About the role
You will lead growth activity across UK and international markets, managing and expanding a portfolio of client accounts while winning new business. The role combines relationship-building, strategic sales planning and hands-on deal delivery. You will work closely with internal teams to prepare proposals, manage the pipeline and ensure an excellent client experience from first contact through long-term engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts to secure retention and repeat business.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through lead generation, referrals and outreach.
- Build and maintain relationships with introducers and strategic partners to extend the firm’s reach.
- Prepare client proposals, quotations and follow-ups with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate pipeline records and drive opportunities through to closure.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform growth strategy.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking functions.
Who we’re looking for
- Proven experience in business development, sales, account management or client-facing roles.
- Strong commercial awareness and confidence negotiating and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to build long-term client trust.
- Highly organised, self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities independently.
- Strategic, proactive and results-driven with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluency in at least one Asian language (for example Mandarin, Korean or Japanese) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to relocate to London and work full-time from the office; eligible for Skilled Worker visa sponsorship.
