LET US CROSSOVER

Scripture Reading: Joshua 3

Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan.  Joshua 3:11

Today, we cross over from one year into a new year. We started this year with the Lord, and we are ending it with the Lord. He has led us moment by moment, day by day, week by week and month by month throughout 2025.
 
The Lord is with us. As He has been with us, so will He continue to be with us. He is with us through the heights of great joy and the low moments of anxiety. We started a journey with God three hundred and sixty-four days ago. When we started, we did not foresee all that lay ahead of us. But here we are, in the presence of the Lord. He who started with us from the beginning has brought us to this day.
 
The question for many people is, what will next year have for me? Will it bring me victory or defeat?’ As you ponder over the uncertainties of the future, remember that you are in safe hands. Jehovah has you in His grip and He will not let you fall or slip. The same hands that have brought you this far will continue to hold you every single day and moment of next year.
 
When the enemy comes in like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard against him. When you go through the valley of the shadow of death, the Lord will bring you out safely. When the fires of affliction try to consume you, the Lord will appear in the fire to keep you from burning. When sicknesses threaten your life prematurely, the Lord will heal all your diseases and restore your health.
 
We face 2026 with a sure word that the Lord who has made us Fruitful, will INCREASE us.
 
Go ahead friend, you are in safe hands as you face the New Year. Let us crossover into the New Year with the joy of the Lord.

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing me to the end of the year. Today, I cross over with faith into 2026.  In Jesus’ name, Amen._
